2 Day 1 Night tour from New York to Niagara Falls, Thousand Islands and Boldt Castle
Day 1
We arrive at Niagara Falls around 2:30pm. We then proceed to take a ride on the beautiful Maid of the Mist. For more than 150 years, the Niagara Falls, "Maid of the Mist" has taken visitors through the foaming waters beneath the falls. The journey begins at the bottom of the Observation Tower, where you'll be provided with a souvenir rain poncho. The Maid of the Mist will then take you to the base of the American Falls and then to the basin of the Horseshoe Falls, through the crashing waters and massive rock formations. This Niagara Falls tour allows you to experience firsthand the power and intensity of the falls, it's breath taking view and rainbows. We then stop for dinner before continuing our tour. After dinner we return to our awaiting coach bus heading toward "Goat Island". Here you will enjoy the beauty of the Night Rainbow view or “Night Illumination” at Niagara Falls. We take our tour to the "Cave of the Wind", for an unimaginable sight. The Cave of the Wind trip takes you closer to the waters of Niagara Falls than you ever thought possible. You ride an elevator 175 feet (53 meters) deep into the Niagara Gorge. Then, clad in a bright yellow poncho and wearing the special footwear provided, you follow a tour guide over a series of wooden walkways to the famous "Hurricane Deck". As you stand at the railing, you are a mere 20 feet (6 meters) from the billowing, mist and torrents of Bridal Veil Falls. The rushing waters loom above you, dousing you with a generous spray as you face the thundering Falls head-on. Rainbows are usually visible day and night!! We then end our evening by checking into one of our Choice Hotels, for a well earned rest.

Day 2
We leave the hotel the next morning at 7am. Destined towards Alexandria Bay, New York. Upon arrival you will have the chance to stroll down James Street and enjoy the wonderful specialty stores, restaurants and souvenir shops. We then board the boat that will tour us through one of the most unusual settings you'll ever see. The St. Lawrence River is comprised of 1,860 islands, that have dotted and decorated this area for centuries and is noted for it's rich history and preservation of such. We dock at Boldt Castle for a tour and lunch. Learn the romantic story behind the beautiful castle. We then return to our waiting motor coach bus, for a safe trip home.

Boldt Castle
Boldt Castle was built at the turn of the century by multi-millionaire George C. Boldt for his wife, Louise, as a testimony of the unsurpassed love of a man for his wife. In January of 1904 Louise Boldt died, ending the dreams of a lifetime. Before then, however, the island was named Hart Island. The enormous castle was intended as a gift for his wife Louise Kehrer Boldt, but when she died suddenly, construction was halted. She was survived by her son George C Boldt Jr., and Her Daughter Clover Boldt, at the time of her death, her husband George C Bodlt Sr., was worth 15 Million Dollars.
