Group Tours ONLY
2-day tour from New York to Niagara Falls and Corning Glass Museum.
For more than 150 years, the Niagara Falls, "Maid of the Mist" has taken visitors through the foaming waters beneath the falls. The journey begins at the bottom of the Observation Tower, where you'll be provided with a souvenir rain poncho. The Maid of the Mist will then take you to the base of the American Falls and then to the basin of the Horseshoe Falls, through the crashing waters and massive rock formations. This Niagara Falls tour allows you to experience firsthand the power and intensity of the falls, it's breath taking view and rainbows. (U.S. Side Only. No passport required!) After we dry off, we'll go to dinner.
We then return to our awaiting coach bus and proceed toward "Goat Island". Here you will enjoy the beauty of the 'evening view' at Niagara Falls. We take our tour to the "Cave of the Wind". For an unimaginable sight. Up close and personal with the night illumination. The Cave of the wind trip takes you closer to the waters of Niagara Falls than you thought possible. You ride an elevator 175 feet (53 meters) deep into the Niagara Gorge. Then, clad in a bright yellow poncho and wearing the special footwear provided, you follow a tour guide over a series of wooden walkways to the famous "Hurricane Deck". As you stand at the railing, you are a mere 20 feet (6 meters) from the billowing, mist and torrents of Bridal Veil Falls. The rushing waters loom above you, dousing you with a generous spray as you face the thundering Falls head-on. Rainbows are usually visible day and night!! We then end our evening by checking into one of our Choice Hotels, for a well earned rested night.
We wake up at nine the next day and leave the hotel at 10AM. We travel to the Corning Museum of Glass for lunch and hot glass show. Located in downtown Corning, New York. Also known as the "Glass Capitol of the World" where you will have time to visit and shop in the Famous Glassware Souvenir Center. We leave Corning at three headed home.
